Privacy
Updated October 2026.
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics and no cookies.
- Files, folders and text are encrypted on your device and can only be read by the device you send them to.
- When the two devices cannot reach each other directly, the encrypted data passes through our server. It is passed on, not stored.
- To pair devices and limit abuse, the server sees the pairing code, your IP address and how much data a code has relayed.
- Sendlyy runs on Cloudflare, which may keep its own logs.
- To find a direct route between devices, your browser contacts a public Google STUN server, which sees your IP address.
- Your browser keeps a few things on your device: the “Accept files automatically” setting, progress of unfinished transfers, partly received files and a copy of the site so it opens offline. Clearing the site’s data removes them.
- Questions: open an issue at github.com/milesARG/sendlyy.
